Takate-kote is a type of Shibari in which many of Kinbaku's essential basics are included, and it is the most common, basic, and representative all-purpose type of shibari among the many types of shibari.
高手小手(TK)は緊縛の基本がたくさん入っている縛りで、数ある縛りの型の中でも、最も一般的に基本的で代表的な万能型の縛りです。
Also, HOJO TAKATE-KOTE AND HISHINAWA TAKATE-KOTE which we introduced before, ARE INCLUDED IN KANNA-RYU'S TAKATE-KOTE, although we omitted them from the photos this time.
また今回は省きましたが、以前ご紹介した菱縄高手小手と捕縄高手小手も、神凪流の高手小手に含まれます。
THE BASICS ARE ACTUALLY THE MOST DIFFICULT.
THE SIMPLICITY IS NOT DECEPTIVE.
基本が実は一番難しい。
シンプルな分、誤魔化しがきかない。
The meaning and role of each Nawa-suji (rope line) is explained in the lessons and workshops, as we are teaching the theory behind it as well as how to tie them.
There is no concept of Kazari-nawa (decorative ropes) that has no function, in Kanna's ropes.
それぞれの縄筋の意味や役割は、レッスンやワークショップなどで、縛り方とともに理論もお伝えしているように、
神凪の縄に、飾り縄の概念はありません。
Depending on the partner's body shape, flexibility and muscle mass, physical condition and mood, rope length, tying partner's feelings, and the purpose and use of seme (torture/torment),
there are a limitless variety of options for the tension, position, direction, line, number of ropes, just as the same pattern of shibari can change a little each time.
パートナーの体型や身体の柔軟性や筋肉量、体調や気分、縄の長さ、縛り手の気持ち、責める目的・用途によって、
同じ縛りの型でも毎回少しずつ変わっていくように、テンション(張力)、位置、方向、縄筋、本数などの選択肢は無限にあります。
Rope is formless and flexible tool.
Shibari using ropes is filled with infinite possibilities!
There is NO perfectly correct or incorrect form of shibari, and there is NO absolutely complete shape or safe shibari.
The arrangements are endless, so these are just some examples.
縄は形のない柔軟な道具です。
縄をつかう縛りは無限の可能性があります！
縛りの形に、完璧な正解も不正解もなければ、絶対的な完成形も安全な縛りというのもありません☆
アレンジは無限なので、これらも一例です。
Kanna-ryu has a wide range of patterns, difficulties and torment levels so we hope Kanna-ryu's class can ensure it inspire your practice and you progress wisely in your practice, learning essential principles and theories, deepening your knowledge and experience, and building your shibari over time.
神凪流には様々な型や難易度や責めのレベルがありますので、神凪流のクラスが皆さまの練習の刺激になり、原理や理論を学び、知識と経験を深め、時間をかけて縛りを身につけ、賢く練習を進めていただければと思います。

A very deep world is out there.
Different people feel differently, and this can vary depending on the type of Gote/Ushirode.
Depending on your age and what you are looking for, what kind of Gote/Ushirode will suit you will vary, but there will always be a Gote/Ushirode that suits each and every one of you!
後手/後ろ手と一口に言っても、その種類は様々！
とても奥深い世界がそこにはあります。
人によって感じ方も異なれば、後手の種類によっても変化します。
年齢や求めるものによって、どんな後手が合うかは変わってきますが、
一人一人に合う後手が必ずあるはず！
What is important is not the kata (pattern/form) or the name, but the body of the partner and the time spent with the partner, and where and how the rope is applied according to each purpose and partner.
大事なのは、型や名前より、相手の身体と相手との時間であり、それぞれの目的やパートナーに応じてどこにどのように縄をかけるかです。
